CDL endorsements are additional qualifications added to your commercial driver's license that authorize you to operate specific types of vehicles or carry certain cargo. Each endorsement opens up new job opportunities and typically comes with higher pay. Available CDL Endorsements H — Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Allows you to transport hazardous materials including chemicals, explosives, and radioactive materials. This is one of the most valuable endorsements because of the specialized nature of the work.
